Dual Language

The Dual Language Program promotes the development of literacy in Spanish and English and acknowledges the value of biliteracy in our society, affirms the value of diversity, and honors the cultures of our community.  Knowledge and appreciation of different languages and cultures of the world contribute to increased global competence and are valuable and necessary skills for our students in the 21st century.   The ability to communicate peers in other languages and to engage with others in culturally-appropriate ways increases educational and employment opportunities, strengthens personal relationships, and adds to the enjoyment and appreciation of life.
